Shawl knitting with beads

      well I have no reason not to get knitting today. It's a nice day much cooler then it has been. I think you could call it a fall day. Being down south that good.
       So I have been working on this shawl for some time. It really is a slow but sure knit. It's something I knew when I start was not a rush job. I want something that felt good to knit and this has been.

I'm doing the large beaded (one bead at a time) the yarn is fingering weight merino wool and silk blend in bare from knitpicks.com

I'm on chart G so I'm getting close to the finishing line.

Yes we still go out as a family even if they are grown up. We just got a bigger car lol.

Ok I'm going to brag here, my kids have grown up pretty good if I do say so my self. Homeschooling worked.
   
        Since my kids have started blogging and stuff it got me wondering were has all the people gone I used to follow and chat with. I think it's time I poked around and see just who is still around and still has a blog going. It's hard to believe so many years have past but life got a habit of going of in the fast lane with out you knowing it. Some of us hit bumps in the road so we take a detour for awhile while some stay on the road and just keep going. So let see who is still out there, give me a shout out if you see this and say hi.

I have forgotten how to do this.

     

      wow! It's been more then a while. 5+ years? I can't begin to catch up. So I'm not going to try I'm just going to start fresh let you all know I'm still around. I'm not even going to say I got busy. My kids are all grown up. We are all still the same just older not any wiser that would just plain boring lol.
      Ok! Let's see, what would be of interest? I'm still crafting you know some knitting and sewing spinning and weaving when the mood takes me. It's still a zoo here. Pets out number the humans. Loud parrots crazy dogs. My youngest pup is a 6 month old chihuahua. Now this little guy can make even a grumpy of broad like me smile.
        Ok I'm doing this on the iPad. I have no idea how to pull up a photo but let try copy and paste. If it work you see my "Alfie" if not I'll try something else.

Well it may have worked.
       Oh! Little bit of news, the old guy and myself will be celebrating our 40 th wedding anniversary this December. I can't believe we made it this far lol.
       Anyway it's midnight and pizza time so I'm going to just post this and see what happens. See you soon keep smiling.
